This page is intended to provide help with the technical aspects with viewing Copper Street digital specials. If you have questions about the digital special's content or purchasing questions click here. While we will do our best to provide answers to the most common technical questions, please remember we are Copper Street Brass, not trained IT professionals or Internet Service Provider experts! If you have a question that we don't address below please contact us and we'll do our best to get back to you within a day or two. Thanks for your understanding!

How do I watch the CSB digital special on my TV?

There are three ways to watch our digital special on your tv:

1) Just like any online video, you can watch and listen to the digital special on any device or stream it to your TV using streaming devices like AppleTV, Roku, Google Chromecast and more. To stream our digital special using one of these devices, access our video on your computer, tablet, or cell phone via the link from the confirmation email that was sent to you. Then cast the video as you would any other video. If you’re having trouble with one of these devices, you can click on the links below for help:

2) If you have a smart TV, you can access our video by opening the internet browser on your smart TV. On your TV, navigate to this website: https://www.copperstreetbrass.org/videosupport.html . Once here, you can click on this link to take you directly to the video. You will be asked to input your 16 digit code that was sent to you in your confirmation email. After putting in your code, click on the little box next to “I agree to the terms of service” and click start watching!

3) You may be able to watch our digital special on your TV by connecting your computer directly to your TV using an HDMI or USB cable. For a more detailed explanation on how this is done, click here to learn more.

Why won’t my code work?

If your 16 digit code isn’t working, check that you entered it correctly. There is a distinction between the number zero and a capital O so we recommend trying your code both ways if you’re unsure whether a digit is a number or letter. If it still doesn’t work for you, your code may have expired. If that’s the case, please reach out to us and we’ll make sure to get you a new code.

Why won’t the video play?

There are several reasons why the video may not be playing for you: 1) CSB digital specials are only available for a designated period. It will not be accessible before or after this timeframe. 2) weak internet connection. Our digital special will be streamed from the internet so you will need internet access for it to play. 3) the video does not start playing automatically so you will need to press play on your device.

Why does the video look blurry?

Our digital specials are available in HD. However if your internet connection is weak, you will see blurry images as the video player attempts to compensate for the slow internet.

Why are the music and visuals not lined up?

If you are using an older device to stream the digital special, it’s possible that the music and visuals will be slightly off. We recommend trying to view the video on a different device or, if that isn’t an option, try restarting your browser/app.

Why does the balance sound off?

We strongly recommend changing any EQ settings on your home sound system to “music” or “flat/off”. If you use other settings, the balance may be slightly off. For example, when using the movie/cinema EQ settings, the percussion will get almost completely cut from the mix. Ah, the joys of technology!

Do I have to watch the video all at once or can I pause it?

You do not need to watch the entire video all at once. You will have the option of pausing the video and scrolling through the video to watch a song again or to pause and later pick up right where you left off.

Can I watch the video more than once?

Your ticket purchase includes a code that will allow you to watch the digital special as many times as you like! The code will continue to work as long as no other device is currently using that code to view the special.

How long is the video available to watch?

Each CSB digital special is only available for a designated period. Please click here to see when the special will be available.

If I purchase a ticket, can I download the program to my computer or burn it to a DVD?

No, purchasing a ticket gets you a code permitting unlimited viewing access during the duration of the digital special's run. You can't download it for offline viewing or burn it to a DVD.
